Alex is also a former semi-professional rugby player.
Originally from country NSW, Australia, Alex grew up in a town of 5 000 people in the southern tablelands. His ticket out was rugby.
As a semi-professional player from 2006-2023, he represented the ACT, NSW and teams across Australia.
He was also selected internationally for teams across the UK, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and the UAE.
Alex is an Australian shooting director/editor represented in Paris and Sydney.

Alex found another passion in film while studying at the Australian National University.
Since then, Alex has joined film teams across Australia and Europe - bringing a sporting ethos and sense of teamwork to film sets and edit suites.
With career highlights including directing helicopter shoots, Olympic and Paralympic television, a scholarship to the American Film Institute, international awards from Cannes, D&AD and Spikes and film festival official selections.

In 2022, Alex moved to Paris with his partner Maddie and they are currently splitting their time between Paris and Sydney, following the warm weather.
